Darwin 'Textile Challenge' Competition

The Countryside and Parks department at the London Borough of Bromley, is based at High Elms Country Park. It is  running  a textile competition to design squares for a community wallhanging  based around the theme of Charles Darwin.  Each square needs to be 7  inches by 7 inches on a fabric base and reflect some aspect of  Darwin - his person, his home in Downe or the local areas he worked  in.  The squares can be painted or sewed - as long as they are on  fabric.

The brochure is attached. Unfortunately there is not very long until the deadline on the 6th November.  They
would like to display the final wallhanging, featuring all the entries, at the Darwin weekend on 21-22nd November.
